As we celebrate the Fourth of July, I invite you to look beyond the fireworks and festivities and into the deeper meaning of freedom.
True freedom isn’t just about independence from something. It’s the ability to be with what is. To live fully in the moment. To choose joy, even in small ways. To love fiercely. To care without condition. And to find peace, even when the world feels noisy.
For caregivers, freedom often looks different—it’s found in a quiet breath, a shared smile, a few sacred minutes of stillness. That, too, is worth celebrating.
So today, may you find a spark of light within yourself.
May you feel the joy of the moment, no matter how simple.
And may you remember: You are doing beautifully.
Happy Fourth of July!
With gratitude and grace,
Geoff
